Goddess of Love and Sexuality, War, Power and Sovereignty. Lapis lazuli was considered the sacred stone of heaven in Mesopotamia. It symbolised divinity, royalty, cosmic power, and the presence of the gods. Because of this heavenly, electric-blue energy, it became Inanna’s signature gemstone.
